At The Right Pitch we cultivate Student leadership

at the right pitch...

We believe that access to sports and essential 21st-century skills is a fundamental right, not a privilege. As we bring the transformative power of sports to children who might not otherwise have these opportunities, our mission is clear: to empower through cricket coaching while fostering skills like collaboration, critical thinking, communication, creativity resilience, and leadership that contribute to holistic growth.

Our programs are designed not only to build athletic talent but to nurture confidence, instill discipline, and foster a strong sense of community and belonging. We see sports as a bridge to opportunity—a tool that can create future leaders, inspire change, and transform lives.

I invite everyone to join us in championing this cause. Together, we can create equitable pathways for children to thrive both on and off the field, helping them unlock their potential and pursue brighter futures.

Stories of Change: Leadership through Sport

Before TRP coaching, we knew nothing about cricket, but our coach taught us everything. Most importantly, my coach taught me not to fear anything. Earlier, I used to be very scared that I would get hurt, I even used to cry, but now even if I fall I get back up. My favourite part of cricket is bowling and I have learned a lot such as how to throw properly and about cartwheeling. Other than this, I have also learned about different habits, good and bad, and how to improve our bad habits. We were also taught about how to identify good and bad friends and about responsibility from our coach didi.”

Participating in TRP has given me confidence and taught me the importance of teamwork. I look forward to school because of the cricket sessions.

For me personally sports has helped a lot. When I started playing cricket I used to be very aggressive and always had fights with players but later on, it started getting less and more mature and I became the captain of the team. The Right Pitch not only helped us stay physically fit but also improved our mental fitness.

Meet the People of The Right Pitch

Since joining The Right Pitch, I've noticed three big changes in myself: I'm more on time, patient, and calmer. The school's principal and director even praised me for being on time, something I've learned is super important at TRP. I make sure to be early for my students; it's part of being a good coach.
Being around the kids, both during practice and outside, has made me more patient and relaxed. Looking at our photos together always makes me smile.
I really want to help kids in my community get into sports and learn important skills they'll need for the future.

In the past year, I've seen positive changes in students. Boys caught onto cricket easily, but girls found it a bit tough at first. Still, they quickly learned how to hold the bat and bowl properly. They're now excited about cricket, which makes them more disciplined and on time. Many made "cricket books" to write down what they learned, boosting their confidence. A girl named Rafiya, who didn't know about cricket before, has gotten much better at batting and bowling. This positive change is happening for other girls too. Also, these students stay away from bad habits like smoking and tobacco, which are common in our area. They even tell others to avoid these habits. Thanks to TRP, students are learning and getting better. Thank you!
